Rippon's Safari Lodge has a total of 12 guest rooms in buildings set around fabulous gardens of serious historical interest.

The main house where you will find the comfortable bar, lounges and dining room, also has two particularly spacious and luxurious duplex suites. Each has two en-suite bedrooms, a sitting room, and is capable of sleeping five people.

And if you are on holiday without children you could opt for one of the seven adult-only twin or double rooms in the fabulous Long Barn, once the main sheep-shearing building, with spectacular views over the valley and waterhole with its resident hippo.

Just a few paces from the Long Barn there's the fabulous long swimming pool, ideal for soaking up the sun, one of two pools on the property.

Long Barn

If you are on holiday without children you could choose one of the seven comfortable adult-only twin or double rooms in Rippons' stylish Long Barn, once the main sheep shearing building.

Each room, which has a wonderful view across the gardens to the bush beyond, is beautifully fitted and includes technology which allows solar panels in the roof of the building to provide a good proportion of the electricity needed. Just outside the rooms there is a private terrace and just a few paces away there's the fabulous long swimming pool, ideal for soaking up the sun in peace and quiet.

Standard Room

Another of the historic buildings at Rippon's Lodge, the old Vet's Clinic, has been expertly converted into three family rooms, each of which is capable of sleeping two adults in the main room plus two children in bunk beds in their own adjoining room.

These rooms are adjacent to the Kids' Kraal, a fully-fenced play area where expert staff take care of the children as they enjoy facilities including their own Play House, paddling pool, jungle gym, games room and countless other activities for children of all ages.

Duplex House Suite

The main building, the original farmhouse, has two particularly spacious and luxurious duplex family suites.

The ground floor area of each suite, with a bedroom and separate bathroom, is ideal for two adults, while the upstairs area, with another large bedroom and shower room, can sleep three people in comfort. Both suites also have a private sitting room and access to a veranda, beyond which is the main swimming pool.
